In case you missed it, we had an awesome first year as a billable product! We released new features, product updates, and had time to build some free monitoring tools.
We recently added a new feature called ITO (Internet Traffic Optimization) to our DNS record pools, which allows you to integrate your monitoring checks. Constellix will automatically route traffic to faster endpoints (IP addresses or hostnames) in the pool based on the results of the monitoring check.
This is revolutionizing the way admins are managing multi-CDN and multi-cloud environments.

GeoIP services (like IP Filters and GeoProximity) are now available for ANAME records. Read more
Free network monitoring tool Sonar Lite released a chrome extension and a web application. The chrome extension offers insight into the impact of different on-page elements and network connections have on load time. It also has a troubleshooting wizard designed to help system administrators debug common network issues.
The Sonar Lite web application offers free network monitoring tools (like dig commands but in a GUI) with a way to share the results with a customized link.
Constellix DNS will now support CAA (Certificate Authority Authorization) records. This record type allows the domain name holder to specify one of or more CAs (Certificate Authorities) to issue certificates for that domain, according to RFC 6844. Check out the full documentation here!
In the dashboard, you can view a quick snapshot of the recent results from your monitoring checks from multiple locations.
We also released a series of customizations for monitoring checks.
